Lori is currently an independent food styling assistant in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is excited to bring her love of food and cooking together with her background in photography and design. She has participated on various projects for high-profile clients such as See’s Candies, Anolon and Circulon Cookware, Peet’s Coffee, Late July, Williams-Sonoma, Safeway, Starbucks, Columbus Meats, Campbell’s Soup, Sargento and a variety of cookbooks published by Weldon Owen, Williams-Sonoma and Ten Speed Press.
Lori’s previous experience includes work as a studio manager for an advertising photographer; owner/creator of a backdrop painting company; and textile designer. As a textile designer she designed upholstery and panel fabrics for Nike, Shaklee, Fidelity Insurance, Delta Dental, Cisco Systems, Genentech, Bank of America and Google.
Lori holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and has studied with Larry Sultan, Henry Wessel Jr., and Regan Louie. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Hawaii State foundation on Culture and the Arts and has been featured in group and solo exhibitions in California, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Texas. She continues to shoot photographs for fine art and commercial projects. Lori was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and currently lives in San Francisco, California.
